Everyother game I play will get way over 40fps but for some reason it's capped at 40 in this game? SoI've done some racing in VR using the new FSR and DLSS options. I used AI races in Zolder with 20 opponents since that's quite a heavy load and a good benchmark. In terms of performance, I'd say both are quite similar. In terms of quality however, they definitely are different. For starters, anything below the quality setting of OculusRift S? Hello everybody, i just ordered an Oculus Rift S to try VR, before you say anything about the Quest 2, i bought the Rift S for 200$ because i just want to try what Ifyou can actually get the Oculus Desktop app to run ok then the original Steam Assetto Corsa should work ok. I've ran this in the past with my old Alienware 17r4 laptop with a gtx1060 6Gb gpu and it worked fine with my old Rift cv1 headset. You may need to adjust AC settings down a bit. Once you actually try doing this I'm sure you'll figure Ive recently bought an Oculus Rift, and want to run Assetto Corsa in VR. I've changed the display mode in AC to "Oculus Rift" but whenever I press start, it tries to load up the track and car, but then crashes and goes back to the AC menu. Oculus users: turn on "prioritise performance" in the Oculus settings app. SteamVR users: turn on motion smoothing in the launch settings for ACC. rendertarget multiplier maxed out - nice for the VR steam menu, but no effect on in game performance Overclocking the 1080ti fails with Assetto Corsa crashing when entering VR every time. On top of that, distant rendering is quite blurry and I was astonished watching some Videos of other folks claiming that this would be there actual lense ContentManager crashes my vr. I've been trying to get content Manager to work for over 8 hours now, everything runs fine on my PC, the wheel, shifter, display, pedals, everything except for my oculus rift s. I've tried moving the my assetto Corsa directory and renaming it assetto Corsa and renamed the original file "original". Withclear weather (or one click added) and all settings maxed out, using Natural Graphics Mod/Natural Oculus Rift Filter, (which looks better and improves fps), I'm able to keep 90 fps., and it looks better than ever. Something is caping my frames at 90 and I suspect it's the Rift but more than 90 fps isn't required at all as long as it's solid.
